Terms of Service
Last updated June 19, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Maintify, provided by Maintify Inc. (“Maintify,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using Maintify, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the service.
The service
Maintify helps you organize home and vehicle maintenance — generating schedules, tracking tasks and history, storing documents, and sending reminders. Features may change over time as we improve the product.
Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
Subscriptions & billing
- Free plan. Maintify offers a free tier with set limits, no payment required.
- Premium. Premium is an annual subscription (currently US$49.99/year) that raises those limits. It auto-renews each year until you cancel.
- Where you buy matters. On the web, payment and renewals are handled by Stripe; on iOS, by Apple’s App Store. Manage or cancel a web subscription from your account billing portal, and an App Store subscription from your Apple account settings.
- Cancellation. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period. We don’t provide prorated refunds for partial periods except where required by law.
- Price changes. We may change prices; changes apply to future renewals and we’ll give reasonable notice.
Refunds
Web purchases are handled under our policy above. Purchases made through the App Store are subject to Apple’s refund process and policies.
Your content
You keep ownership of the homes, vehicles, documents, and other content you add. You grant Maintify the limited rights needed to store, process, and display that content to provide the service to you (including processing described in our Privacy Policy). You’re responsible for the content you upload and confirm you have the right to upload it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe others’ rights;
- upload malware or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
- abuse, scrape, or overload the service, or resell it without permission.
Maintenance information is not professional advice
Maintify’s schedules, recommendations, cost estimates, and other outputs are informational only and are generated in part by automated tools. They are not professional engineering, contracting, safety, legal, financial, or insurance advice, and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional for important or safety-related work. You are responsible for decisions you make based on the service.
Service provided “as is”
Maintify is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any output is accurate.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maintify will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
Termination
You can stop using Maintify and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll revise the “last updated” date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
